Why Stair Stepping Is The Superior Exercise Machine

There are a few cardio machines that are in use and are quite popular with gym goers. All of them have separate benefits associated with their usage, but a stair stepper exercise machine is significantly more beneficial for several reasons. Almost every fitness center will have on available to you, but very few people use them.
Stair stepper exercise machines are exercise machines that make you "climb" stairs. They usually have a digital display that shows how many flights you have climbed, and calculates calories as well as your heart rate. Steps are great for leg toning and muscle development.
Treadmills are one type of exercise equipment that simulates walking, but you walk on a belt that is constantly rotating. When comparing a stair stepping machine, a treadmill is less effective. Even though you can walk or jog, and choose the speeds, stair steppers offer a real challenge for the user.
Elliptical machines are a favorite, especially for those with joint problems. Stair steppers are fun, and offer a different machine for your daily usage. They are anything but boring, and with some great music you can probably pound up a hundred flights of stairs easily and burn hundreds of calories in the process of doing so. Stair stepper machines are great for your heart and cardio system as well.
